Proteas in command of Aussies....

The Proteas completely outplayed Aussies in the 3rd ODI played at Newlands, Cape Town. South Africa who won the toss decided to bat first but the skipper was cheaply dismissed out for 8 runs and Gibbs not making an effective one but managed to make into double digits. Kallis and AB de villiers made a steady partnership and made a 110 runs stand with Kallis scoring 70 of 86 and Villiers scoring 80 of 87,the rest of the players played their part well at that moment. Though the power play was not much effective runs lashed out at the final overs.Nearly 70 runs were scored in the last 6 overs .For Aussies Jhonson bowled a excellent spell claiming 4 wickets and giving away only 34 runs. Following the Proteas batting the Aussies were troubled at regular intervals and were struggling at 114 for 5 wickets. Hopes and Ferguson managed a 94 run partnership stand but in no time Ferguson was dismissed by van der Merwe.The Aussies had a bad day out there in the field, Proteas now lead the 5 match by 2-1.
